The theme for Emirati Women’s Day in 2024 is We Share For Tomorrow.
The UAE has made significant strides in gender equality, ranking seventh globally and first regionally in the Gender Inequality Index 2024, issued by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Emirati Women’s Day highlights the country’s advancements in women’s empowerment and emphasises the significance of continued development in this area.
Emirati Women’s Day isn’t about pink balloons and discounts for women. It’s a day to celebrate the progress being made towards gender balance.
It’s an opportunity to pause and look at what has been achieved so far, to discuss the challenges still to be overcome and to celebrate the impact Emirati women are making.”
