HE Dr Aisha bint Butti Bin Bishr is vice-chair of Emaar Development and the former, founding Director General of Smart Dubai.

She is a board member of Arab Financial Services, the University of Wollongong in Dubai and Gartner Research Alumni Board and is a member of the board of trustees of the UAE’s Higher Colleges of Technology.

Dr Bin Bishr was the first woman executive to lead the transformation of a smart city globally.

She has previously served as Assistant Director General of Dubai Executive Office, and has worked as the Assistant Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Labour.

Throughout her 25 years of experience in ICT development, Dr Bin Bishr has committed herself to humanising digital transformation, from developing technologies to transforming human experiences.
