Shyrose recently joined Dubai Holding as the Executive Director of Sustainability and Gender Equality to spearhead the sustainability and gender balance strategies and initiatives. Shyrose has a wealth of experience spanning two decades in corporate development, integrated communications and sustainability best practices in London and the Middle East. 

Before joining Dubai Holding, Shyrose was Vice President for Sustainability and Communications at Dubai Financial Market (DFM), where she developed and led both departments, spearheading the sustainability agenda across Dubai’s capital markets and financial sector. She was also founder and chair of the Dubai Sustainable Finance Working Group and has provided extensive IPO communications advisory for companies going public.

Prior, Shyrose successfully developed and led various communications and marketing teams in the UK winning multiple industry and company awards.

Shyrose holds a Master’s in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and an Honors’ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies from the UK. She is a qualified Investor Relations Officer (MEIRA) and holds the CFA Claritas Investment certification. In 2019, the CISL appointed Shyrose as the UAE Ambassador to champion sustainability in the region.
