Sameh Abdulla Al Qubaisi joined the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) as Deputy Director General in February 2020. Sameh is working to scale ADIO’s investment opportunities, capabilities and service offering for potential investors.

Recently, Sameh joined (DED) as Executive Director (Executive Affair Office – Chairman Sector) and working to create, deliver and monitor external assets and special projects to achieve optimal value in alignment with national priorities.

He has more than 15 years of experience within the banking and finance sector, covering wholesale banking, risk management and global markets. Prior to joining ADIO and DED, Sameh held various roles at leading companies including CAPM Investments, Finance House, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and Standard Chartered.

Sameh holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Rollins College in Florida, USA.
